Hi Gidon,
Most customers I work with are using vulnerability scanners extensively. WhiteHat, Qualys, Nessus, Trustwave, IBM AppScan, HP WebInspect, Burp Suite and OWASP ZAP seem to be the most popular ones.
Most will have both scheduled scans and ad-hoc scans after any new releases.
