Nov 17, 2008Problem with Virus Scan Pre-Logon Check
I have a user who is having a problem with the Virus Scan pre-logon check. The user is running McAfee Virus Scan: Engine version =5300.2777; Antivirus DAT version =5435.0000. The information that user sent as follow:
-I am connecting through the FirePass VPN and when I got to the screen that asked "Scan active processes for viruses" I selected it. It went through a scan of a number of processes and when it got to c:\Program Files\windows media player\wmplayer.exe the browser window just closed.
-Tried again today and the last file to be processed was c:\program files\citrix\ica client\wfcrun32.exe. Then the file name area on the page went blank, and then the browser window closed.
As you notice that it happed twice on two different file locations. However, the other FirePass users neither complained nor have this behavior. I have the same version of the Virus scan and did not receive any errors either. Does anyone know how to resolve this issue? Thank you in advance for the help.
