Problem with proxypass and an SSL back end server

We are using the ProxyPass irule version 8.1 (May 15 2009). We are using this to set up the BigIP as a reverse proxy server.

 

 

This works brilliantly on most sites. However, one of the back end websites is an SSL protected website. We have been unable to get any get requests to successfully transfer through the back end server.

 

 

We have a Pool setup containing the SSL Back end server. This server shows as available.

 

 

When we try to issue a GET request through BigIP into the SSL back end server, we immediately receive a HTTP 200 response back from the BigIP, but with 0 size payload.

 

 

Does anyone else use ProxyPass to connect to an SSL back end server - and if so, can anyone point me in a good direction for this?
