pre-logon inspections

Hi, can anyone please advise on the following:

 

 

currently we have firepass checking the age of av definitions (must be under 14 days), we'd also like to include a check that the machine is win xp sp3 at minimum (or other OS fine) also check for certain mcafee processes are running...are there any examples available of the most efficient way to do this or can anyone advise?

    In the pre-logon check, insert the "Extended Windows and IE info" check. Once it is added, remove the extended IE info that comes with it. Unless of course you need that information as well.

     

     

    As for the Mcafee processes check, you can add a process check in the pre-logon sequence. Similar to the following:

     

     

    proc_check1111

     

    test.exe

     

     

    Now you can deny or allow based on the outcome of the process.
