Powershell Timeout

I am trying to connect to the F5 server using "Initialize-F5.iControl" command in Powershell. Due to stress on the machine the command times-out. As a result I cannot connect to the F5 using Powershell. Logging in through the web interface is slow as well, but eventually succeeds. We need to use Powershell for our automation, how can I extend the timeout period in Powershell to allow the command to succeed ?
