Port lockdown exceptions doesn't including failover port udp 1026

WHy isn't udp 1026 for network failover be on exception list? Thanks!

  • udp/1026 is included when you specify "Allow Default" which is a list of exceptions that includes a 'pre-defined set of network protocols and services that are typically required in a BIG-IP deployment'

  • Thanks! it's too bad it's not on the exceptions list. A whole bunch of ports are open for traffic-groups that may or may never be used. I see a lot of questions about failover not working because of this.
