pool member
I have disabled a pool member on the F5, but I can still see F5 trying to connect to it.

If you have persistence configured on the virtual server(s) using the pool, the F5 will continue to send connections matching a persistence record to a server, until the persistence record is deleted or ages out.
You can either delete any persistence records matching the pool member you've disabled or change the status of the pool member via 'force offline'.
