Pool member monitor color is grey
Hi to everyone, wondering if anyone has seen the health monitor color in grey, if they disable the node, by marking it offline or disable. Here´s the Big Ip info
Big IP Model 4000 Version 11.6 Build 6.0.442
I have used different browsers, and check if the behavior persist on the standby unit and it does, obviously the Vs won´t process traffic since the node is down. at least on that node.
My doubt is: Is grey a new color on the monitor check status or is it a cosmetic bug. Would appreciate an answer since I am preparing myself to the Tmos administration exam.
thanks in advance

The only time I've seen this is when I create node/pool objects with an iApp and later reconfigure the same iApp and remove one node/IP from it. Typically if I've been messing around with Strict Mode as well, leaving the node in limbo in regards of the iApp.
If this sounds famuliar, that might be your case.

Thanks for your reply but is not the case. All the configuration has been done manually. I created the objects and assign the resources in the following order: Node>>Pool Member>>Vs.
Hi Vidar,
the gray signs are indicating that the pool level status is green, but the parent (aka. at the node level) is marked down/offline.
Gray circle = Available (Disabled Parent) - Pool member is available
Gray diamond = Offline (Disabled Parent) - Parent down
Cheers, Kai
