Sep 22, 2009pool-member control question
I'm sure this is simple but I can't find it for the life of me...
1 pool and 2 members, round-robin and Priority groups used .... pool-member1=2 : pool-member2=1, priority group activation = less-then 1.
If pool-member1 goes down this if fine traffic goes to pool-member2, when pool-member1 returns to service I want to keep the traffic pointing to pool-member2 and not return to pool-member1...is this possible via GUI config..?
9.4.7 build 320.1 final
Many thanks for responses

Do you want current traffic to point to Pool_member2 and new traffic to go to Pool_member1 when pool_member1 comes up?

It sounds like you want single node persistence:

i basically don't want the traffic to start using pool-member1 when it becomes available again, i.e.
pool-member1 active
pool-member1 down ---> pool-member2 active
pool-member1 up ---> pool-member2 active (no traffic to pool-member1)
pool-member2 down ---> pool-member1 active
pool-member2 up ----> pool-member1 active
pool-member1 down ---> pool-member2 active
pool-member1 up ----> pool-member2 active
etc... - Ken_Meade_51669

single node persistence sounds like what I'm after thanks I'll try to implement that today and see how it goes.
