Is there a call I can use to verify connectivity/ping an ip from the F5?

    The F5's have PING. You need to SSH into the CLI to perform the command.

    Is there a way to do this from the iControl API? I'm looking for a way to automate this. Thanks.

    got it. I am the wrong guy to answer that.

     

    You probably could build a node, apply a node level monitor, and check it status with iControl calls. Then clean it all up. Kind of messy.

     

    I'd hold off until a smart person responds. :)
