ping - change source to floating IP?

Is it possible to change the source IP address of the ping command on an LTM to one of the floating IP addresses?     What I'm really trying to do is figure out a way I can update the arp t...

Are trying to do this so that if the LTM fails over the ARP table is updated on the router?

 

 

If that is what the goal is, then you should look into MAC Masquerading.
