I have users coming into the BIG-IP from several transparent proxies that sit in front of the BIG-IP. The BIG-IP then forwards them (using a forwarding VS) to their destination server.

no but you can lookup for specific persistence record. persist https://clouddocs.f5.com/api/irules/persist.html - lorvain_176032Jun 03, 2015

what does built-in persistence data information mean? what do you want to achieve? yes. - lorvain_176032Jun 03, 2015

I have a cookie persistance profile that store information for a specific cookie. But for a specific treatment, I would like to know if a persist record is already present in table persistence managed by the persistence profile. - nitassJun 03, 2015

cookie persistence does not utilize persistence table i.e. it is not shown in tmsh or bigpipe command. - lorvain_176032Jun 03, 2015

how about tmsl show ltm persistence persist-records all-properties ? I see records in created by cookie persistence profile... perhaps cookie persistence does not utilize persistence table, but information are stored somewhere. How to access it ? - nitassJun 03, 2015

thanks, Note: Cookie and Hash persistence types are stateless persistence methods and do not utilize the BIG-IP persistence table. So its means that we can't access to this through iRule ? - nitassJun 03, 2015

you can decode cookie value, can't you? Persistence Cookie Logger https://devcentral.f5.com/s/articles/persistence-cookie-logger - lorvain_176032Jun 03, 2015

If I well understand, cookie decoding is only when Cookie insert method has been used before. It is not the case here. I just want to access to records I can see usign tmsh show ltm persistence persist-records mode cookie key "xxx"
