Persistence records with Source Address Affinity

I have a v10.2.4HF3 VIP which is configured with Cookie (primary) and source_addr (Fallback) persistence. When looking at the persistence records, I see multiple records from the same source address. These records are correctly persisting to the same Pool Member, but this is not what I expected to see intuitively. Each record has a different Age value. I also see records being dropped off long before their configured timeout value (60 minutes).

Can someone explain why the LTM would create multiple persistence records for the same source address, or why a record would drop off before the Timeout value?

You shouldn't worry about the multiple records - this is related to CMP. Each TMM has to create its own "local to the handling TMM" copy of the persistence record and the "local" records are there for as long as they're used. Then they are removed (before the timeout of the master record). I hope it helps.
