persistence profile to remain common across all VIP's
Team, I may have not been able to explain the subject line so please ignore that.
The setup I have a that the F5 load balancer has 2 servers behind it. The VIP is a Performance(Layer 4) VIP with SNAT set to "None".
The client communication first takes place on port number 888. The based on the authentication the communication takes place on higher ports like 40000, 40001 and up.
What I really need is the when the client hits the VIP which is defined for port 888, and is load-balanced to one server, the next communication which is on 40000 should also go to that server.
I have a different VIP defined for port 888 and then different VIP's defined for port 40000 and above.
How can I achieve this? If this is already the case how can I confirm that?
Regards, N!!!!

N, try assigning source address affinity persistence to one of the vips and test and let me know.
