PBR for port port 80 (http traffic)

Hi,

I am new to the F5. We have F5-BIG-CGN-5000S and wants to do PBR for the http traffic (port 80) to the cache appliance. In short, request from the end users will come to F5-BIG-CGN-5000S (interface-1), if it's http packet then Bip-Ip should redirect it to the cache appliance connected on interface-2 if not then do the NATting & send out through interface-3 Interface-1 : Internal purpose (End users connectivity) Interface-2 : To Cache appliance (for http caching purpose) Interface-3 : To Outside/Internet

I don't see any option in GUI for the PBR configuration, is it command line configuration. Please suggest. Regards, Nilesh

  • You didn't say what OS version you are running so I'm assuming 11.4.0+.

The virtual server that is processing the traffic will need either a local traffic policy or an irule to direct the traffic to different pools.
