Patching GTM VE 11.5 with HF4

Disclaimer: New to F5.   I spun up the 11.5 base VM and I'm trying to run the hotfix. I used the 31GB template but I can't update the active boot partition. I shutdown the VM, added an extra drive...

I spun up the 11.5 base VM and I'm trying to run the hotfix. I used the 31GB template but I can't update the active boot partition. I shutdown the VM, added an extra drive but I believe I need to create a boot/software partition/volume. I am running the base 11.5.0.0.110.

 

Can someone steer me in the right direction?

 

You should create another partition, install big-ip base, then install the hotfix.
