Hi Will, can you please provide more information? What do you mean when you say it doesn't work-are you unable to connect at all, or are you getting connected but then getting authentication prompts? If you make OA and EWS (free/busy) requests from a Windows Outlook client, does it work?

    thanks

  • Hi Mike,

Thanks for the quick reply. When I say Mac Outlook Client doesn't work means all of our Mac clients are getting prompt in the MAC Outlook - Error shows Unknown user name or bad password. ![Image Text](/Portals/0/Users/151/71/126871/macoutlookissue.png)

OK. Did you use the Exchange iApp to deploy, and if you did, which version did you use? I assume you are using APM since this is tagged as such...have you tried checking the access policy and SSO debug logs on BIG-IP for errors? You'll need to set those two logs to "Debug" from the System>Logs>Configuration>Options, then tail /var/log/apm while attempting to log in from a Mac.

  • Hi Mike,

Yes, we are using iApp with exchange 2010 (f5.microsoft_exchange_2010_cas.2012_06_08), I know there are newer version of Exchange iApp but it still don't make sense why only Mac Outlook client dont' wrok - Strange!
Maybe re-deploy newer exchange iApp would fix it, but it still bothering me what could be the root cause of this.
I will definitely turn on the debut during the maint window & see what pops up.

        Again, thanks for the suggestions.

I strongly recommend deploying with the f5.microsoft_exchange_2010_2013_cas.v1.5.0.tmpl template that's available on downloads.f5.com. The list of fixes and new features is significant between that version and yours, and may fix your issue.

Let me know how it goes if you decide to do that.

  • Yeah. I already have it on hand, just want to hear anything else could be issue other than what we are experiencing right now from APM Tech @ F5.

I might just go ahead with this re-deploy tonight & see what's going to happen.

It's hard for me just get it over with without knowing the root cause (that could be the root cause in this case).

    Thanks again Mike.

  • Hi Mike,

Just want to let everyone know, the issue have been fixed. Basically, I did exchange iApp deployment with the newest one. The root cause was both SSL client & server profile were corrupted after the ISO upgrade.

        Thanks again
