OneConnect Transformations without OneConnect profile

Are there any advantages in making OneConnect Transformations enabled without OneConnect Profile?     Isn't there problem in making OneConnect Transformations enabled without OneConnect Profile?...

I think OneConnect Transformations should be disabled, if OneConnect is not used. As deb is describing on the following pages.
