NPath Routing V12 Configuration - observations

Good Morning

We have an Existing Virtual Server deployed for UDP LB, we have a request to POC NPath on the same LTM to compare. The configuration of the LTM is traditional: External VLAN: Self IP’s, Floating, LTM Default Route defined here. Internal VLAN: Self IP’s, Floating

For NPath the Client traffic will arrive on the Internal VLAN – the Clients and Pool Members are connected to the Same Internal VLAN Subnet as the LTM.

Virtual Server IP will be from the External VLAN Subnet.

From the many NPath KB’s, V11.4 IAPP Guide this will be my configuration: Virtual Server – Performance L4 – UDP Address Translation Disabled Port Translation Disabled Auto Last Hop Disabled Source IP Persistence L4 profile – Loose Close Enabled The Clients and Pool Members will follow their guides as defined: Loopback definitions to the Virtual Servers, etc.

For the LTM configuration, does anyone see any gaps? Was thinking the Default Route or External LTM Self IP’s might be in the way but since all traffic will be on the Internal VLAN it shouldn’t matter.

Thanks!
