not able to use big ip ve license on azure

Hi everyone,

 

I bought 3 years ago Big IP VE license from https://www.cdw.ca used this license on my laptop without any problem.

 

Now, I would like to use it on azure (BYOL). I have tried to activate it and getting the following error message :

 

"Error 51133, F5 registration key is not compatible with the detected platform - This platform, "Z100AzureCloud", cannot be activated with this registration key "XXXXXXX-XXXXXXX"."

 

I have contacted f5 support and got the following response : "Your license is too old you need to buy a new one".

 

Before getting a new one I would like to be sure it's working on azure. Could you tell me what kind of information to check on license ? or could you give me a web site selling big ip ve license for azure ?
