"No handler" errors

Hi, on a production LTM, we are currently experiencing intermittent connectivity problems to some of the VIPs. With the "tmsh show /sys tmm-traffic", I see a relativelly large number of "No handler" errors. Other error counters in the same output are zero.

Does anybody have an idea what do these errors indicate?

  • May be AFM is enabled on the box. "No Handler" is for Enforced Policy.

  • I believe the indicate packets received/dropped which did not match any VS/NAT/SNAT in the config so there was nothing available to process the packet. I see this same error increment on lab VEs which are processing zero traffic.
