Hi All, I've just set up two LTm 3900s and under the performance tab it shows that they are using 95% or memory? These are brand new, no configuration have been set on them beisdes their management IPs. Is there anythjing I can check to see why ?
This is what top shows.

i understand tmm is using 363.1M from 6.2G and host is using 1G from 2.6G (7.8G - 6.2G). - Jim_43682

I just don't know why it is reporting on the dashboard, and thru SNMP that it's memory utilization is over 95% - Jim_43682

Is this a known issue with F5 LTM v11?

It's not really an issue, normal. If you look at your stats it shows 7.8 GB of physical RAM and 6.2 of that is allocated for TMM's use. - Jim_43682

I see, however our SNMP collector is reporting it at 99% used, is there a different OID I can go after as I don't want to disable the monitoring of memory completely, because I would be nice to know if and when the F5 is running hot.- Rohin_78131

Hi Jim, did you get any OID's? It would be better to have OID for monitoring TMM memory utilization alone rather than HOST memory?
