need to take backup for F5 ltm

Hi,

We are trying to take backup for BIG IP LTM and unfortunately we don't have any tool like solar winds to take backup. So if I need to take ltm backup can I create a bash script on LTM to generate .ucs file and scp to another server maybe windows. Can this be possible and is there any script through which I can take weekly backup of config, cert etc..

There is an iApp for this. Have a look on this thread: https://devcentral.f5.com/articles/f5-automated-backups-the-right-way

I have used the enhanced version of it by inxgeek and it works fine for my customer. That is mentioned in the comments and is downloadable from here: http://download.domingo.dk/data/public/backup-iapp.php.
