May 29, 2009Need iRule to fix IE6 302 Redirect nonsecure security alert
I'm a newbie, so talk simple talk.
I'm using httpd class profiles to connect directly to JBOSS port 8080. Everything works great UNLESS IE6 is used (unfortunately the majority of my users do). When it redirects from https to http, I get a Security Alert window that says: You are about to be redirected to a connection that is not secure, etc... (Yes/No).
Is there an iRule or something simple I can do to fix this? Something more than the "Warn if changing b/w secure and nonsecure modes" on the IE6 Browser (which doesn't work by the way). Thanks!

I've not heard of a way to circumvent this warning - is it possible to keep them on https? Why redirect to http? - Bill_99109

Figred it out. We created a new http profile with the Redirect Rewrite box "checked". Included "All" as well. Now it goes back and forth with no warnings.
