Need help with pool members disabling/enabling
Hello,
I need help in setting up a custom HTTP health check, monitor at pool level.
During high load when [HTTP status code is 500|501|502) this monitor must not disable 50% of its configured pool members.
Additional information, when pool level HTTP health check monitor marks a member down, member level TCP or ICMP monitor marks the member up. Please advise, any help or guidance is much appreciated.
Thanks, -GP

Not sure about the first requirement I'm afraid.
As for the second issue, are you saying you have 3 monitors on the pool and if the http health check fails it doesn't mark the pool member as down, and you do want it to?
If so then check your pool properties, what have you got set for Availability? If you set it to All then it only needs one health check out of three to fail for the pool member to be marked down.
Hope this helps,
N

Hi Nathan,
Thanks for the response, may be I didn't explain my self clearly.
My goal is to prevent, HTTP monitor (pool level) disabling all members during high load. In high load when all threads are busy, HTTP monitor will disable the member based on "HTTP Disable receive String". How can this be prevented.
Thanks, -GP
