multiple virtual servers vs irules!

hi everyone

 

 

this is quite a straight-forward question: generally speaking, in terms of big ip performance, is it better to use a single virtual server which distributes traffic to multiple pools using an irule which detects host headers? or is better to create individual pairs of virtual servers and pools for each site?
