multiple virtual servers for the same node

I have a webserver hosting 3 websites; on the outside, the 3 websites have their own IP address. I have created 3 virtual servers, but only one works, the other two user gets in the IE "can not display webpage" (it works just fine on the inside). By the way, each website is protected by an SSL certificate. What am I missing?
