Multiple dns lookup faliures for a particular datacenter webservers

we are getting dns lookup failures for a particular web servers residing in one datacenter and not for other. what might be the cause for this.

    we have two local gtm's in network, one in each dc and they are used to load balance applications across data centers, and we are getting dns failures for web servers residing in one data center for only one market.
