Multiple BIGIP DNS for GSBL

I am very new to the F5 and currently replacing the Netscalers with F5.

 

We have netscalers configured in a parent/child. 9 parents sharing GSLB information and 40+ children. The parents and children are located in different geographical locations(worldwide). The children communicate with their parent in their geographical location, which in turn the parent communicates with the other parents about availability, etc.

 

Will this be the type of overall setup. Parent F5 DNS communicating to the remote F5 LTMs. The parent F5 DNS sharing DNS, GSLB information to the other F5 DNS.

 

I am trying to find what information is shared between the F5 DNS GSLB.
