MSSQL Health Monitor - Longer than 1 standard line
Hey guys,
Just wondering if anyone has come across the issue when using an MSSQL heath monitor where the SEND String is longer than 1 standard line therefore resulting in the 'Value may not contain literal newline characters.' error when saving?
If so does anyone know how to get around this? I have a SQL query which I have removed out all whitespaces except spaces but is longer than 1 standard line.
I have tried putting \n which doesnt work as it interferes with the query and I've also tried escaping it by using \n which also doesnt work as the above error pops up again.
My query has some inner joins and also a case statement which is why its a tad longer.
Thanks heaps.
Karen

Just put it as one long line, eg let it wrap around in the GET field and place \r\n where you want a newline.

Hi Kevin,
It definetely did not like the \r\n in the mix (keeping in mind this is a MSSQL monitor rather than a HTTP monitor).
I already have it wrapped in one long line. I think it may actually be buggy as sometimes without changing anything on the SEND string/query it will allow a save but most of the time it will error.
Thanks anyways Kevin.

This is probably the GUI bug referenced in:
