Monitoring System Stand alone

I'm looking for a way to implement F5 monitors for a stand alone Linux/OS to reduce CPU-load on F5-BIGIP system

Can you elaborate on what issue you're trying to solve and how you're thinking of doing it? Are you trying to monitor a Linux host which LTM is load balancing to? If so, which services are you load balancing? Or something else?
