Monitor AAA servers on LTM

I have a request to configure F5 LTM to load balance between AAA servers. Few questions I have is 1)What is the best monitor we can use for AAA servers ? using a simple tcp monitor is not an option ...

hi,

 

from my knowledge AAA server is an acronym for Authentication Authorization and Accounting.

 

then an AAA server can use radius, ldap, tacacs,...

 

the choice of your monitors will depend on which protocols are supported and used by your AAA server.

 

You have special monitors for ldap or radius and you can build your own by modifying a standard udp or tcp monitor with a custom send and receive string
