Migrating configuration from 2000s to Viprion Guest

you might have to

• install the UCS with options no-platform-check / no-license

• check https://support.f5.com/kb/en-us/solutions/public/13000/100/sol13132.html

   

• check sol14906: Overview of the UCS no-platform-check tmsh option

   

• check sol16216: The tmsh no-platform-check option may not function as expected

   

• modify the bigip config files, as a vcmp guest do not reference physical interfaces but vlans.

There is a little work to do to migrate the config but it's definitely possible without headache.
