You can also add your new hardware in your HA and sync your conf in new i2800 from your i2000 (this is how I proceded)

And of course you have to be in the same version old and new hardware.

 

So Upgrade your i2000 to v12.1.3 to be at the same level as the i2800 (whether you want to follow my procedure or that of S Blakely you must be in the same version).
