Microsoft Lync
Hi F5 Gurus!! Our Windows/Microsoft group has been tasked with quickly bringing up a Lync environment that will be used to connect us to our sister companies. They in turn have approached me about putting our piece of the environment behind our Big IP. All the documentation I have seen on AskF5 suggests that we need to have the version 10 LTM, but we are running 9.4.8 and our hardware will not support an upgrade. Our F5 sits in our DMZ, and we likely will use the absolute simplest of configurations (ie: only one edge server and one director/front end server, both on the same network. The F5). I am neither a networking or an Email/Communications expert, but it seems like this should be doable. Does anyone have any experience with this, or know of any reason why this will/won't work?
Thanks much!!
Gregg
