MIB Information

I need to identify OIDs for various devices like .1.3.6.1.4.1.3375.2.1.3.4.82 and can't find them online. Can you help me with this?

  • No I have not. I am more interested in an F5 solution to their MIBs and not buying a product. Thank you just the same.

    On v11, at least 11.3 in my case, run the following on the command line:

     snmptranslate .1.3.6.1.4.1.3375.2.1.3.4.82
    F5-BIGIP-SYSTEM-MIB::sysDeviceModelOIDs.82

  • Three things:

    1. Jie's specific platform may not have this information, but on a newer platform the same command will reveal the hardware model.

      [root@cleanbox:Active:Standalone] config  snmptranslate    .1.3.6.1.4.1.3375.2.1.3.4.82
      F5-BIGIP-SYSTEM-MIB::bigip4200
      [root@cleanbox:Active:Standalone] config  snmptranslate .1.3.6.1.4.1.3375.2.1.3.4.83
      F5-BIGIP-SYSTEM-MIB::bigip5200
      [root@cleanbox:Active:Standalone] config  snmptranslate .1.3.6.1.4.1.3375.2.1.3.4.84
      F5-BIGIP-SYSTEM-MIB::bigip7200
      [root@cleanbox:Active:Standalone] config  snmptranslate .1.3.6.1.4.1.3375.2.1.3.4.85
      F5-BIGIP-SYSTEM-MIB::bigip7200F
      [root@cleanbox:Active:Standalone] config  snmptranslate .1.3.6.1.4.1.3375.2.1.3.4.86
      F5-BIGIP-SYSTEM-MIB::bigip7200S
      [root@cleanbox:Active:Standalone] config  snmptranslate .1.3.6.1.4.1.3375.2.1.3.4.87
      F5-BIGIP-SYSTEM-MIB::bigip10200
      [root@cleanbox:Active:Standalone] config  snmptranslate .1.3.6.1.4.1.3375.2.1.3.4.88
      F5-BIGIP-SYSTEM-MIB::bigip10200F
      [root@cleanbox:Active:Standalone] config  snmptranslate .1.3.6.1.4.1.3375.2.1.3.4.89

    2. The personal version of iReasoning's MIBBrowser is bot free and an excellent tool for viewing MIB data.

    3. There is not going to be any document that, given the size of the data in the various MIBs, details all of the information within. I would instead direct you to the following documents:

      sol13322: Overview of BIG-IP MIB files (10.x - 11.x)
