Max Sync Retransmission in Monitors
Hi,
I can change "Max Sync Retransmission" in the TCP Profile for the Virtual Server traffic.
But, Can I modify the "Max Sync Retransmission" for the traffic generated by the BIG-IP?, for example Monitors.
The normal behavoir when the unit send SYN to server and the server don't respond, is the following:
11:35:45.845495 IP 192.168.0.71.45189 > 192.168.0.73.http: S 2943781555:2943781555(0) win 14600

...
Between each SYN the time is the double that previous SYN.
This beheaviour is related to Max Sync Retransmission param configurable in tcp profiles but we don't know how to modify this parameter for the bigip monitors. we want unit to retry every 5 sec. Is it possible?
Thanks

I don't believe you can configure this setting I'm afraid.
