Maintenance Page for VIP with Policies
Hello, We host a F5 VIP for multiple applications through a policy. We have approx 25 applications and route traffic to different pools based on the http-host request of that app and forward it to their pool. We host a shared environment and looking for ways to enable maintenance page for a specific application when it is unavailable. In simple terms, if the response time of our shared environment is impacted caused by on of the applications and to avoid impacting other applications we force offline the member in the pool which gives end users a 404. Instead of a 404, can we enable a maintenance page for the specific pool which I disabled the member, so that end users see the maintenance page instead of a 404.
Can this be accomplished with an ifile and at the pool members?
Thanks in advance !!

You might be able to specify a Fallback Host in the HTTP profile for the virtual server. Redirection to a fallback host occurs if all members of the targeted pool are unavailable, or if a selected pool member is unavailable (as in being disabled, being marked down by a monitor, or reaching its connection limit.) See K40243113: Overview of the HTTP Profile for more information.
