Mac VPN client and proxy setting issue

am wondering what possible ways there are to actively influence proxy settings *after* a VPN session has been established.

 

 

Am using a Mac 10.5.8 and Safari 4.0.3 and the client bundle version info reads

 

 

F5 Network Access Plug-In, Ver. 2008.03.25.6

 

 

Situation is that there might be any variation of a proxy setting in order to reach Firepass from on an external network. However, after establishing a VPN connection my proxy setting setting is dictated by corporate. In our case it is served through an autoconfig .pac file.

 

 

Manually entering the proxy setting after each VPN connection is more than painful - any ideas?
