it's possible to manipulate a mac address with an iRule?

so i've to work with policy based routing on my cisco equipent - one thing i don't like ...
marc- It's a bummer. MAC information can be dug out of the traffic stream, but it's read-only. Just out of curiosity, what are you trying to do?
