LTM, VS and connections involving multiple ports

Setup - standard virtual server, client connects via https, F5 presents public certificate, while server has private/self-signed certificate.

 

On certain actions (like create purchase order) in addition to the existing and used port, additional port on server side is involved. Like,

 

Is it possible at all to have VS configured (with or without additional irules) to deal with such scenarios?

    Hi,

     

    Do you have some more information?

     

    Are those ports also involved on the clients side? Or is client to virtual system always https?

     

    So you want the F5 to access another port based on the action of the users. For example clicking somewhere on the website?

     

    If the URI is always the same for the same action (clicking on a button on the website), you can try to write an iRule to change the destination port for that action.
