Hi,
what are security advantages of using ASM+LTM instead of just using ASM alone? Is there some security feature in LTM that does not exist in ASM or even better, is there some ASM security feature that is enhanced by using LTM+ASM?

LTM Configuration elements are required for both configurations ASM or LTM+ASM. From a security perspective the LTM license adds additional flexibility with elements such as Traffic Policies for ASM Policy selection.
