LTM Policy Set Variable

Hello guys,

 

I just want to know what we can do with the option "Set Variable" in LTM Policy. Im trying to set and Session variable when the LTM Policy its process and use this varible in APM Policy to manage different kind of Authorization when a user make a request to a certain URI, its that possible with the LTM Policy?

    LTM (CPM) policies don't set access session variables. To do that you'd need to either use the access VPE or an access iRule. Example:

    ACCESS::session data set session.custom.app "Mapas"
