LTM and Oracle Backups

So, is anyone else backing up Red Hat Oracle boxes from behind a LTM?

 

 

If so what products are you using and did you have any difficulty configuring the boxes?

 

 

I'm having some pretty baffeling issues with Commvault, Red Hat and our BigIP. I'm looking for what other solutions you may be using.

    Hi Ken,

     

     

    What kinds of issues are you seeing? What kind of LTM object do you have configured to pass the traffic? Are you seeing idle timeouts or something different? Do you see the same issue if you bypass LTM? Is there a reason you're doing backups through LTM?
