LTM 4.5.1 Web UI management interface not accessible

Hi There,

 

 

I have a LTM 2000 with 4.5.1 version. Suddently the unit's management Web UI can not be open. The port 443 is not accessiable. But all virtual servers are working fine.

 

 

Restart httpd and tomcat did not help.

 

 

Any suggestions are welcome.

    Just find out theat inetd is not running. It can not be restarted with bigstart startup command. Is the only option to reboot it?

     

     

    bigstart: status inetd

     

    status inetd: is not running

    Hello,

     

     

    inetd doesn't run by default on 4.x. What do you see when trying to connect to the admin web interface? Can you run a tcpdump on the BIG-IP command line while trying to connect in a browser? Are there any errors in /var/log/httpd or /var/log/secure? Are there host based restrictions in /etc/hosts.allow?
