"local database db admin password decrypt failed" message

Hi

 

After upgrading to 11.4.1 (from 11.3), when I run "save sys ucs", a message like this is sent to syslog:

 

2013-11-14 06:04:34 UTCmy.f5.fqdn ldbutil[5045]: 01490000:5: local database db admin password decrypt failed

 

AFAIK local database is related to APM, which I do not have (only LTM).

 

Please advice, what to think of this message.

      Getting the same log message. Was the ticket resolved by any chance.

    can you try to provision apm and then de-provision apm?

     

    i understand the error is benign. anyway, you may open a case to verify whether it is a bug or not.

    Interesting. Also seeing the same error message. I do have a script I wrote which collects a UCS nightly, so seeing this mentioned by the original poster makes me wonder if there is indeed a relation.
