I'm trying to test RDP persistence with the default RDP persistence profile and an iRule you were working on before (Click here and later Click here).
I believe the customer is unable to use session directories as they don't have enterprise Windows servers. I've been testing from WinXP and Win2003 standard clients to WinXP and Win2003 standard terminal services. I have tried testing using 'mstsc /v:VIP' and entering the username and password in mstsc before making the request.
I never see the mstshash in the client connection. The only intelligible string in the requests is the hostname of the client.
Is this expected? Is there anything I can do other than use session directories on the TS servers to entice the client to send something I can persist on like the mstshash that's described above?
Thanks,
Aaron
