Load Balance to members accross a router?

Hi,

 

 

I have a request to load blanace to members that are not local to any interface on my LTM 1500. Are there any issues in doing that? I haven't tried it yet, I'm just starting to explore the idea. Are there any F5 solutions addressing that type of topology?

    This is standard procedure in my environment. Only in certain niche environments are there servers in the same l2 networks with the LTMs. You'll need routes to the servers, and you'll need snats to make sure the traffic comes back through the LTM.
