Load balance behind IBM IHS ProxyPass

I have the following setup on an IBM IHS web server.

 

ProxyPass /testing https://internal.webserver.com

 

ProxyPassReverse /testing https://internal.webserver.com

 

 

This is working today, but we want to add another server to handle the load on internal.webserver.com

 

I want to load balance requests to https://internal.webserver.com using the F5 as IBM doesn't support the mod_proxy_balancer module that comes with Apache. Any ideas?

 

 

I've tried...

 

1. Pointing internal.webserver.com to a VS and attaching the ProxyPass iRule so that it would take the place of the web server proxy.

 

2. Leaving the proxying statments on the web server and just putting a VS in front of the two servers.

 

 

 

 

SCRATCH THIS! Looking at another method to implement this.
