License - Advanced routing modules - VE12

Hello,

I,m using a Virtual edition of F5 version 12. I have been asked to enable a dynamic routing protocol between the F5 and 2 routers. I read that in order for this to accomplished it is needed an extra license key which is related to the advanced routing modules. I can see this option on the route domains field but when I enable ospf for example I cant observe any difference. Can I use a dynamic routing protocol without a license ? Where exactly can I check the state of these "advanced routing modules" ? I would expect to see this option on the resource provisioning tab but nothing is there.

Thanks

    no, you can't.

it isn't a full module like DNS, ASM, ... so you don't provision it. you will also need to configure it via the cli, see https://support.f5.com/kb/en-us/solutions/public/14000/400/sol14490.html

you would see something at License Summary and then at the active / inactive section related to this.
